Monitoring CPU temps when using Prime95

I started a torture test (blend-lots of ram) with Prime95 and my temps shot up to 60 deg. C with speedfan, so I stopped the test.

Did I stop it prematurely? At what temperature should I stop the test?

I really need to find out how my RAM is doing because I'm having lots of BSOD's and other crashes (see "Colored vertical bars when crashing" thread).

    Thanks.

You can read more info for your CPU here - Intel® Core

If you wish to test your RAM with Memtest86+, feel free to do so: RAM - Test with Memtest86+
    - Run at least 7 passes (will take 6-8 hours)
    - Do this overnight.
    - Burn .iso into CD/DVD using a CD burning program (I recommend Imgburn)
    - Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot. Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

    Thanks a lot, Dean.

    9 passes of Memtest86+ - no problems

Does that mean there's no problem with the ram sticks/slots, or should I memtest them individually?

    Test them individually.
