Hibernation issues with Win7

    Hibernation issues with Win7


    Hi All,
    Recently my laptop (hp pavilion dv2000 series core 2 duo t5550 3gb RAM, win7 ent edition 32bit) shuts down/hibernates on its own.Found the following in the event log.Anyone come across similar issues.any fix/solution is much appreciated.

    Um yes, as stated above "a critical thermal event" read heat issue

    If it is a lappy clean (blow out with canned air) the heat exchanges and fan, etc.


    If desktop, carefully open and examine. Remove dust etc.
