    Freezing up now and again

About a week ago my PC started acting up, the mouse pointer disappeard and the system froze up.
Contol/Alt/Delete did not work and the only way back was to switch off then on again.
This just happens at random times maybe to or three times a day.
I would like any replies on what could be causing this.

    Thanks
    jack

open the case and re-seat your RAM and any expansion cards (graphics card, sound card, whatever you have). Might be thermal creep and Win7 seems to be sensitive to hardware issues.
