    BSODs potentially caused by SSD

My basic system specs can be found in my profile.

    Windows 7 x65 retail

The system was first powered on on Jan 31, 2009 but I have since upgraded the hardware (graphics card, PSU, case, cooling system, added boot SSD).

The age of the OS install is just over a week, although I was having these problems in my previous OS install as well.

Now, down to business. My system has a 30GB boot SSD and a 1TB secondary drive. The SSD contains the OS installation and smaller programs. The HDD contains a symlinked user folder and larger programs. It also has the paging file. The hibernation file has been removed from the system to free up disk space.

I believe that my SSD is malfunctioning. Fairly often, my computer will blue screen (but always when I am not at my computer) and when it reboots, will give me a black screen with white text that reads something to the effect of "The system cannot boot because of a disk configuration problem. Please check hardware blah blah blah."

It is also worth noting that when I run Acronis True Image every 3 days, it gives me an error when it gets to the point of backing up my SSD. Apparently there is a CRC error.

I ran Acronis drive monitor and it tells me that the drive appears to be going bad as well.

I have attached the necessary information. Tell me if my suspicions are probably correct of if I am missing something.

Ok. Interesting development. I caught it mid reboot. It hang for a bit on the BIOS screen that shows my storage devices (this screen always shows at boot but is usually very brief). Then it gave me a BCD bootloader screen with a choice between Windows XP Professional and another XP Professional entry. I let it time out on the first one. Then it gave me the screen saying that I have a disk configuration problem.

    I am very confused...

To the OP: it appears your fears are well-grounded; I would also suspect the SSD.
