Back again, Hello Techies...

I installed a new cpu, motherboard and memory over the old operating system had to update/change a few drivers but every thing else software wise is still the same. So here is the latest BSOD occurence. Hopefully we can turn the lights off on this one.

Hoping to hear from you at your convenience. And of course many thanks for your assistance.

Hey Guys...

I did all of the recommended actions however when I got rid of the virtual clone drive all of my cd/dvd drives disappeared. what is that all about? Can'r run memtest86 until I can resolve this.

Enter diskmgmt.msc into the start menu, and press enter. Check to see if your CD drive is listed in there; if so, make sure it has a letter. If not, assign it one.

The dvd/cd drives are not listed in disk management either. They are listed in regedit under hkey local-machine-system/mounted devices.

Check in Device Manager (devmgmt.msc), see if they are listed there. If so, are there any errors associated with them?
