still nothing. it must have been fraps, cant remember making any other significant change. i even overclocked my cpu now and ran prime95 for 8 hours without a problem.

i turned on fraps again for a few hours yesterday and didnt have to wait long for my pc to bluescreen again.

im almost 100% sure tho that this will be fixed in the final version so im not worried.

i hope theyre gonna fix the bluescreens that i get upon shutting down as well.

I have not read everythinkg in this thread, but the first post, has show me a bad thing, THE PSU

    I had at the beginning:
    4gb ddr2 ocz ram
    P5Q boerd
    cosre 2 quad q9300
    nividia 8800gt
    PSU 550w

and a lot of BSOD's, after replacing the PSU too an of 650w the problems were gone. My Problems where +/- the same as yours.

if it was the psu it would get worse under load. the psu is more than enough for a pc like mine anyway.

Fair enough, but are you a Star Trek fan? Spock said in "The Undiscovered Country":

If you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
Absolutely off topic, but that was said by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of the detective Sherlock Holmes, 1859-1930.
Quite a few years before Spock was conceived... with all due respect to Mr Gene Roddenberry...
