Hi thanks for the posts. I have replaced my ddr3 ram modules today. They are Patriot brand and since fitting them the pc has performed spot on. No glitches or crashes so far.... Also i have gone back to AVG free as changing to avast didnt improve the random bsod's . I think my problem is resolved. Time will tell.

Random BSOD's, what can be the problem?
