Windows 7 Crash at file right click

Hey, when clicking a file on the desktop or in a folder explorer crashes. It is a known issue that seems to have to do with context menu handlers...

I have researched the issue and using shellexview and disabling each non-windows handler I still have the issue, also tried disabling all non-windows handlers at the same time to make sure I didnt have 2 context handler issues. Still crashes on file right click.

I updated windows with all available and optional updates and that did absolutely nothing... anyone have any more suggestions?

Hello Sabanknight, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You could do a system restore (at boot if needed) using a restore point dated before this started to hopefully fix it.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Other than a clean reinstall, I'm not sure what else would help.
