    BSOD Help - iaStor.sys

    Greetings,

    Looking for general help.

My computer has been buggered for about 2 weeks now. We have intermittent use but now it simply won't load up at all.

Start up repair says it's fine. Memory check is fine. Scandisk also fine.

I get to the login screen, all is well, I then get either one of two messages. The first:

    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    *** STOP: 0x00000003V (0x00000000C000001D, 0xFFFFF80003D49AF, 0xFFFF88003A7EEV0, 0x0000000000000000)

    The second being:

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    IASTOR.SYS

I've tried restoring from a previous version, it's hit and miss, sometimes it'll roll back but most of the time I get an error. Have been able to get it to the desktop a couple of times, but whilst there I can't load any exe files. Firefox wouldn't work, but I was able to get IE working.

The computer is networked, when it is at the loging screen I can access it from my other computer. I really have no idea what's going on, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
      My Computer
