    Several random BSOD's.. Please help......

My laptop is an ASUS K42JA-VX032D
4gb ram (2gb extended by me)
2gb ati mobility radeon 5730 grafix card
    i5-m460 processor
running on windows 7 ultimate 64bit
kaspersky internet security 2011 alongwith malwarebytes antimalware

The BSOD's that i get are very random and i never know the next BSOD is going to happen. The BSOD's happen mostly when it is idle and it is perfectly ok, while i am gaming. I got most of the BSOD's while on wireless internet or watching a movie. The system has also freezed 2-3 times. I am uploading all the dump files that i have got. Thank you in advance. Please help me ...

    BSODs caused by BS_DEF.sys

BS_DEF.sys - seems to be the Default BIOS Flash Driver Updater which is a part of Asus Update
    Please remove such software

Yes it was caused by this Asus BIOS updater Utility/Updater
Remove it, here is a guide for performing it Programs and Features - Uninstall or Change a Program

Upload any new dump files if BSODs continue to occur

    uninstalled.. thank u

I uninstalled the program from control panel.. Thanku so much for the reply.. I am asking this again because the BSOD's are very random. As i checked with bluescreenviewer it tells me most of the BSOD's are caused by the ntoskrnl.sys alongwith others. I have got many errors like page_fault_in_no_paged_area, IRQ_LESS, win32k.sys, ntfs.sys
I am soo worried about this, and still do you think its the asus live update that caused all these BSOD's, about 20??
    Thanku for replying again :)

win32k.sys and ntoskrnl.exe are usually caused by other software drivers which are unstable.

If ever you get any more BSODs you should enable driver verifier to identify the drivers causing it
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

I looked at the last 7 dumps and they all indicated the Asus utility

    thanku :)

OK that is great news for me if the BSOD's would stop with this. That would be a great relief. :)
Can u please help me again looking at this dump file 012711-35739-01.dmp that i have attached before, because it was the starting of the crashes. If that is also due to the asus utility, i can make it pretty sure that the problem is fixed.:)
I greatly appreciate ur help. :)

This one was caused by Dreamweaver and win32k.sys, for that reason I suggest to enable the driver verifier if you get more BSODs

    Code:

    *                                                                             *

    oh.. bad news

    Rep+

So it means, it is not solely because of asus update utility right...

Just before posting, i had tried the driver verifier, where i followed the given steps, checked only the 'Microsoft Corporation' drivers and unchecked all others. When i restarted it immediately BSOD'ed, which was the latest dump that i attached. Then i had to do startup repair to get the system booting properly. What do you think that is?
