BSOD When Only Playing World Of Warcraft
My computer keeps crashing when playing WoW. It will flicker for about 1-2 minutes before it finally BSoD's. I have tried reinstalling OS and still same problem. My Drivers are also up to date according to Windows 7 Driver Update. The system is about 2 years old. The problem began when I upgraded to Cataclysm. I have also tried a fresh install with WoW and no dice. Specs are as follows:
System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Inspiron 530 OS Windows 7 Professional X64 CPU Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 Duo CPU E7400 @ 2.80 GHz Motherboard Dell Inc. ORY007 AO1 Memory 6GB DDR2 (PC2-6400) 400MHZ Graphics Card(s) Intel(R) GMA (3100) Sound Card High Definition Audio Device Monitor(s) Displays Dell SE198WFP Screen Resolution 1440 - 900 Hard Drives Seagate ST3750630AS 750.1 GB Keyboard HID Keyboard Device Mouse HID Compliant Mouse |

My guess would be the problem is the gma 3100 video device. It's basically 2004 technology, the cataclysm update to world of warcraft includes quite a few graphics updates as well. The only thing I can think of is to disable every extra graphics feature you possibly can. Especially those related to shaders and lod.
