I ran the scan, it said no violations found. I updated drivers listed. Both safe mode and regular bsod upon login.
As of now im having to run Ubuntu so I can at least get on the comp. I still get "IRQL equal or less" error. That being said..
I don't see how drivers could even be a factor?. If I did a clean install of windows 7 when I first got windows 7 and had no issues, then it would be safe to say that I should have no issues doing a clean install now right?. I mean, the version of windows on the cd doesn't change, and with a clean install all the windows drivers are default of what the windows 7 cd comes with. Nothing has changed hardware wise between then and now.
I am thinking I have some kind of hardware failure in my laptop, but then wouldn't I also be having some kind of problems running ubuntu?
Could it be possible that my windows 7 cd somehow became corrupted? By scratches or something like that?
Again, thanks for the help so far, but any ideas?

Old drivers are obsolete and ones that are time stamped 2008 and older sometimes won't work with Win 7 well and can cause system instability, crashes, problems, etc...
When you do a clean installation - it will load the generic drivers from the CD and some hardware will not work until you install it's proper driver, not generic.
