    Bluetooth driver causes BSOD

HP Pavilion laptop bought in June 2009, original install was Vista (OEM) x64. In January 2010 I did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional (x64), after wiping hard drive. No recent problems, no other hardware installed recently.

    Problem

March 16, 2011-- installed drivers for Belkin Bluetooth Adapter, the bluetooth mouse worked fine. Shut down several hours later and got BSOD during shutdown.

March 17-- removed and uninstalled bluetooth adapter, still getting BSOD on shutdown. I did a system restore to a March 15 backup, no change. Still crashing at shutdown. I also turned off 3rd party Bluetooth Services. Did not help.

When shutting down from safe mode, I do not get a BSOD. System is stable after rebooting from safe mode, until I shut down and get BSOD again.

I did a system restore to an earlier date and no longer get a BSOD at shutdown. Still having problems, but no need to reply to my original post. I will attach new data collection files if I cannot get this resolved.
