Disable Paragon from services for a while and tell me if you get bsod again.

You must update your system specs as I have shown in post #6

This will really help out.

Thanks.

Hi Zordoc,

Yes, I am using Paragon HFS+.

My system specs are:

Vostro 230 Mini-Tower
Windows 7 32 Bit
Core 2 Duo E7500/2.93GHz
4GB DDR3
250GB Serial ATA Hard Drive 7200RPM, 8MB Cache

The external hard drive is in the HFS format for Macs, which is why I use the Paragon driver to cross platforms. I will see later this evening if I get the crash with my FAT32 formatted hard drive.

Thanks for updating your specs Martellep.

I suspect that Paragon HSF+ 8 is the culprit or the drive. Do you crash when using it? Do you have the latest updated version?

I'm not too familiar with HFS since I'm all PC , but reading Mac partitions with second party software can be tricky. I use Acronis just to image my drive and I have issues with version 2011.

Let's wait and see with the drive issue since you tried a format.

Nope, I am able to successfully Read, Write & Delete from the drive with no problems using the Paragon HFS+ driver. The BSOD occurs only when I try to safely remove the drive or turn the drive on when the computer is already on.

Then, seems to lead to a drive issue. Make sur that everything on your machine is updated from the Dell site and that all drivers are updated. Let's wait and see.

Found the problem it is the Paragon HFS driver. I am in contact with Paragon now, still waiting for a response back from tech support. Anyone have any experience with MacDrive?

I had this happen once today with paragon, but way more when I used macdrive. I'll stick with the paragon one as long as it doesn't happen very often.

I have the exact same problem and I'm using the lates version since ver 8 doesn't install in win7 SP1...any solutions?
I tried to unistall, clean registry but still same problem. The weird thing is that if you see the properties of hfsplusrec.sys e hfsplus.sys it says version 8.01...... I contacted paragon but they didn't answer...
