booted in normal mode and catalyst installed OK.

a lot of problems till now. some of them:
    1. uninstalling catalyst package in safe mode (some error occured / had to do it in normal mode)
    2. sweeper install (some update problems / the link is very old! / had to find the new version)
    3. installing catalyst drivers in safe mode / "Failed to load detection driver" / had to do it in normal mode

I haven't had any problems with XP. Win7 is very badly supported for now. If I don't find a solution for my problems soon, I will go back to XP 32bit.

SFC /SCANNOW done ... everything OK!
havent' had any gaming from last catalyst reinstall.
Haven't done router firmware update yet. I have discovered that the network/internet problem is because of the workgroup with a MAC. It happens when I try to share some files with a MAC on the same LAN.

    More blu screen while gaming.

Tried to set timings and voltages of my ram. After setting up in bios, I had a boot-up problem. The computer want show even the bios. Black screen. Also the monitor didn't turned on. Tried to take out 2 sticks of ram and the system started to boot up but a massage came out: something like the system had some power-up problems and windows would like to check system files. A system recovery (or restore, i can't remember) showed up asking me to try to fix the problem. I let the computer working and went out. When I returned home in the evening, I saw the desktop meaning that the boot-up problem was gone.

But now I don't have IE9 anymore which I installed few days ago. This means that the computer restored to an earlier restor point? If so, is possible that the work I have done to reinstall the display driver is gone? Should I reinstall it once more?

DeanP? Can you help me or is anyone else available? Please? Am I speaking only with myself? Very disappointing ...
