Getting Many BSOD's and program freezes.

    Hello,

I am getting very frustrated with the BSOD's and program freezes that I'm experiencing.

The last BSOD showed PEAUTH.SYS "Page Fault in Non-Page Area".

I have attached a zip file created by following the instructions on the "BSOD - Posting Instructions page".

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi Steve and welcome

Are all these DMP's from the same machine? You have one that has SP-1 installed and the newer ones do not.

Youhave files from 2 years ago that have the wrong dates, and file sizes.

Where did you get your win 7 image from? was it downloaded?

Yes, they are from the same machine. I have always "upgraded" windows and not purchased the full version. The current version of windows is Windows 7 Home Premium Family Pack allowing me to upgrade 3 PCs.
