Like I said I would, I bought a new i7 960 and just to be safe another set of corsair ddr3 ram ratted @1600. Again with everything set with optimal settings everything seems to be fine, though I have only ran OCCT linpack for about an hour.

Now when I manually set the timing/volt/speed(using all correct settings) or use XMP to get the ram to the 1600, the computer restarts after I turn it on(meaning failed OC I think) then boots normally, though sometimes after it restarts after I turn it on, my screen will stay black and the only way to restart the comp again is to hold the power button.

Any thoughts on what the problem could be?

Thanks,
Nick
