BSOD after trouble with LAN
Hi, I subscribed to this forum after reading some reports to other users.
I'm having issues with an apparently casual BSOD. Here's some background:
I have a brand new (about one month) machine running Windows 7 Ultimate x64, and everything was fine until yesterday, when I bought a PCI WiFi network card to connect to my router (I was previoulsy on cable).
When I bought the card, I didn't notice that it wasn't compatible for Windows 7, so after mounting in it I fought an unwinnable battle to find drivers for it. After wasting one hour, and installing a lot of crap, I removed the card and plugged in the cable again.
Later that evening, my PC crashed. The automatic cleaning procedures deleted the minidump, but (un)fortunately it happened again this morning: I installed BlueScreenView and a brief inspection seemed to point to a problem to ntoskrnl.exe , address 70740. Looking for a solution to this problem I stumbled on this site, and reading the previous answers I noticed that the solution should be tailor-made to each system.
So here's my situation. I followed the directives for posting reports on this site. In the attached file(s) you'll find the reports from jcgriff2, that from perfmon and a summary of my system made with AIDA64. Every help is appreciated. Thank you.
