If you find anything at all in the files let me know... the only thing I could see was that it picked up I don't have an antivirus installed - I removed it in case it was part of the problem (it wasn't) and haven't reinstalled it yet.


I'm at the point where I'm almost about to go and buy a new motherboard, but I really don't want to go spending money unless I can be sure that it will even solve the problem... I still have no idea what the problem is, and am only guessing the motherboard by process of elimination since I've swapped almost everything else..

Is there anywhere else that anyone would recommend I could go for help, then? Or should I just buy a new mobo and hope that's it? I'm completely out of ideas.

There is no new dump file in your attachment.
As you said before, black screen didnt produce any dump files.
Memtest, furmark, prime95 test show no error, so the things that you have not checked is motherboard.

I know there's no new dump files, but DeanP said to upload it anyway because the additional info in the report might give us a clue.

Is there any way to check the motherboard, short of replacing it? ie. you have Prime95 to test the CPU, Furmark for the video card, Memtest86 for the RAM, etc...

AFAIK, there is no software to test motherboard conditions.
The easiest step is try to test all the components(RAM,PSU,Processor,VGA,HDD) with different motherboard and see how things go.

Or you can also check the hardware manually.

Alright, thanks for the info. I will wait to see if DeanP finds anything else in those files I attached; if not, I guess I'll try a new motherboard.

I didn't seem to find any errors on your system according to the reports. I would go ahead and follow Wish's advice.

Alright thanks for the help. Seeing as the CPU tested fine and I have some thermal paste here, I might try just getting a mobo on its own and see if that solves it. Hopefully I can find the same model somewhere.

I don't suppose anyone could recommend a good replacement for the GA-MA785GT-UD3H model? It seems it's been discontinued
