    drive G

When I try to uninstall progems from my drice C (or install some) I get an error message that "can't find invalid drive G". My drive C is working fine and I don't understand why it is looking for G.

You probably installed something via virtual drive (Daemon Tools, Virtual CloneDrive, Magic ISO etc.)
which is unmounted now since it's no longer needed.
What you have is most likely a corrupted uninstall string in your add/remove Programs section.
To resolve the situation, I would start here

How To Remove Invalid Entries In Add or Remove Programs

Easier might be to find and delete the entry in question with CCleaner
