Help BSODs ntoskrnl.exe-70470 with various BCCs

My first build ever: about 3 months old
Smooth sailing at first, but I've begun to see a consistent BSOD a couple of minutes into a game that ran perfectly well until about a week or two ago, as well as a some BSODs in a few other high load scenarios now. BlueScreenView shows a bunch of different bug check codes. Attached is a zip that includes several minidumps and other infos as per that nifty Windows NT6_BSOD v3.03 executable.

I've run memtest+ on the RAM (that was the first thing I tried) and it seems to be clear. Prime95 also went without any problems on various CPU/memory intensive settings too.

Sometimes on the reboot after a halt, the BIOS gives me a message that the overclock has failed and suggests loading default BIOS settings or changing BIOS settings. This despite my not trying at all to overclock anything and using mostly default settings. Maybe I need to update the BIOS? looks to be ver 2102 date June 2010?

Maybe it's a graphics card thing...that's what I'm going to try swapping next...Or it seems like the Catalyst Control Center updated recently, though the display driver is dates Jan 2011--maybe I need a CCC rollback?

...in the meanwhile I thought I'd post here, as it seems like some people have been able to resolve similar situations with some help from the forum.

cpudrv64.sys seems to be a large part of the issue, I can't nail down what application it's part of, but it seems likely it's related to SystemRequirementsLabs CanYouRunIt.

I would remove this software if it's present on your system.

I also see ASACPI.sys on your system, this is part of the asus utilities that likely came with your motherboard. It's best if these utilities are removed as the driver that goes with them is a known bsod source in windows 7

Thanks for the reply. I'd thought about uninstalling all of those ASUS utilities since I don't use them--except recently to look at the MB voltages and temps during these stress tests. That's the first thing I'll try when I get home tonight before swapping vid cards. I got my hands on a trial HD 4870 and a 3850.

It seemed to me that the cpudrv6 only showed up as the culprit on the last memory dump in bluescreenview. That was a BSOD that happened last night when I was trying to run an intel driver updater web widget (prolly a silly thing to do with an AMD motherboard). So I'm thinking it's probably not related to my problems...could you take a look at the dumps from earlier that night (there's at least two more) that were a result of playing the game.

Update:
uninstalled the Asis utilities with Add/Remove program wizard including AI suite, Turbo V, EPU-4.

Tried running things to get the BSOD and was not disappointed, or rather was disappointed, because I did get one (a BSOD).

Attached is that latest memory dump and performance report from that dos utility, although from what I can tell, the last minidump from today isn't showing up in there?

Update 2:
I tried swapping out the video cards, first, I took a sizable step down from the HD 3870 to a 3450. Try to get a BSOD, and I did...not looking good for video cards being the problem.

Next I went up a generation to an HD 4870. Wow, that cut through 3DMark Vantage (ie DirectX 10 version for 3000 series cards) with twice the frame rate of the 3870, with no problems whatsoever. I'm going to have to see how stable the system is now.

Maybe these 3000 series cards are so old that Win 7 64-bit driver support is lacking? I'm seeing that the 4870 was marketed as 'certified for Vista', so we can only imagine what the 3000 series cards are...

Or do you think this is an apples to oranges comparison?

You may have hit upon something there, I hope it continues to go well for you.
I was actually about to start turning to hardware as we have pretty much exhausted what software issues I could find.

More troubles...Sigh. Thought we had it figured out. With the newer graphics card it seemed to working great for a few days. Last night though, I started seeing the same kinds of BSODs. It started in the game, but then persisted into just windows after reboots. Then it just plain wouldn't even boot up or even post. I pulled out a stick of RAM (like I did before) and then it booted. So it's a piece of hardware, but it's not the video card--although that seems to have helped delay the symptoms—Does that make sense? It seems like the older the video card, the sooner I see the BSODs, so I put back in the 3450, and tried running the game w/ just the single stick of RAM. It was fine for a while, but eventually went to another BSOD. Last night I ran memtest+ on that stick of RAM overnight and by morning it had passed the tests 15+ times. So it’s not that stick of RAM (and probably not the other stick since it wasn’t in the machine for that last BSOD).

So what’s next? Do I go back and uninstall software from a month ago, or try a repair of Windows 7? How do I go about eliminating bits of hardware? The oldest pieces are things I pirated from my older system: a PATA HD (not my primary drive—I did a clean upgrade OS install on a new drive) and DVD-combo drive...I guess I could unhook them and see if the troubles persist...not really sure why they would come up in the middle of a game. When do I start thinking about RMAing the motherboard?

Attached are the latest batch of memory dumps…but I have a hard time being optimistic that they’ll generate anything useful.

Well how about this: I tried running some Prime95, first a blend test, which soon failed. Then a small FFTs test, which caused a system halt. Reboot, and I got the BIOS POST message that ~'the overclock has failed, f1 to go to setup or f2 to use default BIOS settings...'. I go to run some more Prime95 and I notice that there' are only two cores crunching the numbers...my CPU monitor gadget only shows two cores too...The CPU temperature in the BIOS doesn't seem hot to me: ~40C. I can't tell what it is under load since I uninstalled AISuite Utilities, but as I recall it wasn't elevating all that much, so I'm reasonably sure I got the stock heatsink/fan on there correctly.

So is a bad processor consistent with all of these problems that I've been posting here?

It's so frustrating that the problem is so hit and miss--Prime95 ran for a couple of hours a week ago without a problem (I'm probably not patient enough to run these memory and other tests for 24 hours straight when the first, second third passes seem fine)...what a racket...Should I tweak CPU voltages, or just RMA?
