multiple BSODs in a day now :(

second time posting first had BSOD in november and i updated a drive. now it's back. please help.
i attached my zip (with system health report) and here's some info if it'd help:

    - i have windows 7 x64 home premium
    - i received an upgrade CD from the laptop manufacturer (asus)
    - laptop was purchased in july 2009
    - OS was upgraded dec 2009

    thank you.

p.s. i think the system health report says i don't have an anti-virus. i actually do. thanks again.

I don't show any new BSODs. The last one is from November 2010. Make sure you have the memory dump files enabled.

Update your computer to SP1 - How to update to SP1

The next time you get a BSOD write down as much info from it as you can or take a picture of your screen and post it here

sorry. i couldn't get the BSOD's message earlier because the screen quickly shifts from blue screen to rebooting windows. i tried updating to SP1 and during download, the BSOD finally lasted a few seconds and produced a dump file - see attached.

    thanks again for your time.

Please uninstall Zone Alarm. It is known to cause BSOD, specifically the STOP 0x7f, which is the one you received.

Start with that and see if your system stabilizes and also check if you can update Windows.

    UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (7f)
This means a trap occurred in kernel mode, and it's a trap of a kind
that the kernel isn't allowed to have/catch (bound trap) or that
is always instant death (double fault). The first number in the
bugcheck params is the number of the trap (8 = double fault, etc)
Consult an Intel x86 family manual to learn more about what these
traps are. Here is a *portion* of those codes:
    If kv shows a taskGate
use .tss on the part before the colon, then kv.
Else if kv shows a trapframe
            use .trap on that value
    Else
.trap on the appropriate frame will show where the trap was taken
(on x86, this will be the ebp that goes with the procedure KiTrap)
    Endif
kb will then show the corrected stack.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 0000000000000008, EXCEPTION_DOUBLE_FAULT
    Arg2: 0000000080050031
    Arg3: 00000000000406f8
    Arg4: fffff80002e98eb0
