Thank you very much, I've done that and rebootet successfully. I hope the solution was really that easy to my BSOD's, fingers crossed! I'll probably know in a few days.

Ok this still doesn't seem to be fixed.

I just ran driver verifier (verifier.exe), restarted the system and got a BSOD with IRQL_not_less_or_equal before I even signed into windows. I saw the page "windows is starting", the animation etc. but then the BSOD before the sign-in menu shows up.

For some reason the system didn't even attempt to create a dump. I set restart to manual, pagefile is at least the size of my memory, it's set to do a mini dump so not sure why it doesn't make a dump? I can make a picture if required. Please help!

How can I isolate the problem-driver if the system crashes while windows loading and not creating any dump files?

Thanks again for your reply, Dean.

I don't know why but this time it actually DID create dump files. Before, that bottom of the BSOD would just remain blue, no mentioning of any dump files etc. Attached dumps + health report to this post, your analysis is much appreciated.

Could someone please analyze that dump and let me know what caused the BSOD this time?

Dump is not showing a probable cause. Run Driver Verifier: Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffff800045b266c, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000008, bitfield :
    bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff800045b266c, address which referenced memory

Thanks Dean, weird that the dump didn't show the cause of the BSOD because it happened directly after I ran verifier.exe as specified in the thread you linked to above.

More BSODs happened, this time I selected drivers in batches instead of all (except microsoft ones), so these BSODs happened after selecting a creative labs (soundcard) and 2 fresco drivers (USB 3.0 driver). Testing them one at a time doesn't seem to cause any BSODs though.

Dumps + health report attached.

On that note, the health report always states that a USB device is apparently deactivated, so can it be that the fresco drivers somehow are bugged? I downloaded and installed the latest version of them so not sure what else to do in this regard.

Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000040, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000001, bitfield :
    bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff800042e3898, address which referenced memory

Thanks for your reply, Dean. I'd rep you again but it gives me an error that I'd "have to spread rep around first before giving it to DeanP again" (?)

Actually, I ran 9 passes of memtest 2 days ago as specified in that thread, without any errors. I'll update truecrypt and deinstall AVG. Could AVG be causing any BSOD issues?

So the dump says again it's an unknown error, how can that be? This is really annoying What should I do now?

Thank you for your help, Dean, I truly appreciate it.
