    IRQL not less or Equal


    hi this is my firat post and its because my useless pc is blue screening ive recently had the BSOD five times in the space of 3 hours with 2 or 3 diff warning msgs one was IRQL not less or Equal and another was Dxgmms1.sys a dump file was created but i dont know how to find them on my computer or how to upload them so i can get help in finding out whats wrong i recently changed my graphics card and ram because i thought one of those might be the problem but i still get the BSOD probably even more frequently now P.S ive also changed my windows from XP to Vista to Win 7 with no effect.

    I know it's a bit of a pain but it's about the only way we can get any crash specific information off your system over the internet.

    Additional info:

    My pc runs Win 7 x32 Ultimate edition
    Full Retail
    Most hardware no older than 6 months (motherboard and CPU are older)
    RAM is brand new as is the graphics card (less than 2 months old) i thought old ones may have been the cause of the problem but i still get BSOD internal HDD is older than 6 months also
    the oldest components in the computer have been in use no longer than 2 years (motherboard + CPU)

    Have you updated your drivers recently?
    A number of them are showing as out of date.
    MSI provides a rather more recent copy of the system drivers for your motherboard here

    ive just downloaded the 2 files for my M/Board cheers are those the only 2 out of Date i dont know how to check these things myself (NOOB) i can barely keep the parts inside together.

    The only thing that noticably stood out, I want to see if it at least decreases the frequency of your crashes as they are so numerous right now it's actually difficult to get a handle on what's going on. I didn't bother posting the debugging information because it varies for nearly every crash.

    Cheers and this is the fastest forum ive ever seen for reposting you are a bloody hero its been doin my head in for weeks lets hope my problems can be fixed so very simply.

    computer is still blue screening after install of the drivers unfortunately has done it twice in an hour

    upload the newest minidump files please.
    Just the minidumps this time don't need the other stuff.

    Sorry didnt know which minidump files you would need so i just copied the full folder from C:/Windows
