Crossfire 5770 bsod

I read this post: https://encrypted.google.com/url?sa=...urjFZRZWwIIJ7A
And followed some instructions there, uninstalled daemon tools, used the sptd uninstaller.

Under windows it works fine, no problem, the problem starts as soon as i start a game, i installed crossfire yesterday, so i have gotten my hands on crysis 2 for the occasion.
I've tried two games, world of tanks which has been installed for months and has worked fine and crysis 2, i start a game, after a few min the fans go to what sounds like full speed, then it freezes and i get bsod.

Hardware specs are in my user profile.

Hope someone has an idea, because i don't.

edit: took out the first card, and left the new one in, it's been doing fine for the past hour playing world of tanks.

Your BSOD was caused by your video card driver. I see that you have the latest version out. I would like for you to uninstall the video card from device manager and then reboot the computer and re-install the latest drivers. Do not install the catalyst control center, just install the drivers.

The Daemon Tools driver is showing up in the BSOD dump but I can't find it anywhere else in your reports. Did you uninstall it prior to running the report?

Please run these tests and report back the results
1. Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - RAM - Test with Memtest86+
2. Prime95 - Run all three tests for 3-4 hours each or until error - https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html
3. Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff88004dd7f0e, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: fffff88007ea63b8, Exception Record Address
Arg4: fffff88007ea5c10, Context Record Address

Thanks for you answer.

Yes uninstalled daemon tools prior to.

I've already tested ram and cpu, but knew problem weren't there because it's been working just fine the last year untill i stuff in another 5770.
Yesterday i uninstalled ccc, removed from device manager, rebooted, reinstalled driver incl. ccc, know some say it can be bad, but never experienced problems before.

Afterwards it detects the cards fine, everything installs fine, internet, youtube, xbmc and so forth runs fine, it's only when you stress it with games, and it's only with both cards installed, i remove one, doesn't matter which one, everything is fine again, i can play a game for hours without problems.

I can oc both of them as well and still have no problem, i don't go crazy on the oc so 930/1340 seems good imo, everything is still fine, but install the second card and bam, bsod.

I'll try what you said and get back when that's been done.

scrooge

That is not the problem, my psu is 80+ and has two 12v rails with 25 amps on each, that's enough.
