    ks.sys BSOD

I am intermittently recieving this blue screen right as it gets to the windows log on screen, along with stuttering audio right before it errors out. I had issues with my Logitech web cam C910 before with similar problems. This time, the error started after I installed the SSD, and transferred my data to it, making it my boot drive. I would like to find a permanent solution to this problem.

can you enter in safe mode with networking?
We really need the information from the following link to provide proper bsod support.
    https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html
Meanwhile the only thing I can think of outside of that, is have you checked to make sure that the ssd has up-to-date firmware?

I can get into windows booting normally, but it usually takes 2 to 4 reboots, then it acts normal. If I disconnect the web cam, then connect it again, I get the same error.

Then could you please follow the bsod posting instructions I linked above, or just click on the image in my sig?

i posted the attachments, are they not showing?

I am thinking that it is related to the usb ports, or audio, but I don't know how to analyze the crash dump.

Well you were accurate it's pointing to ks.sys, this is a core windows file though. So barring corruption of system files that's not it.
You can check system files easy enough with this.
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

It wouldn't hurt to see if you can find a updated driver for your blackberry. The one you are using is a bit old. http://us.blackberry.com/support/

Same goes for your netgear driver, it's not even a windows 7 driver - http://kb.netgear.com/app/

For the duration of this troubleshooting please uninstall AVG as it has been known to cause problems on some systems. (and it can just pop up out of nowhere after working fine for a long time) If you just can't stand to go without security MSE is free
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/secur...s/default.aspx
and doesn't currently have any known issues with windows 7.

I see you also have components from trend micro installed.
Having two antivirus programs at once is just asking for trouble, it doesn't make anything more secure, it will likely just lead to problems.

That's it for this pass, I think you're dealing with conflicting AV's, but the drivers listed could also stand updating if any update is available for them. I've provided links to point you in the right direction where I could.

The driver dump follows for reference.

Is it showing that I have AVG? I do have Trend Micro Internet Security. I will check for updated drivers for my wireless adapter. I don't understand how you are able to read and make sense of those files.

win debugger application, and several online resources. It's time consuming.

Please give this a shot while you are at it.
    AVG - Download tools
on that page you will find removal tools for avg, if it's not supposed to be there, that's the best way to get rid of it.

Okay, updated netgear software, uninstalled malwarebytes and a couple of other programs. Ran the avgtool. Ran sfc, didn't find anything. I am going to try rebooting several times in a row, to see if it does it again. I can cause a bluescreen by unplugging and plugging in my web cam, and it seems to be the same error, I think. If you have time, take a look at the files and see if it is indeed the same error.

Update: I did more research, and it turns out that there was a conflict between Western Digital Smartware and Logitech Web Cam Software for the C910. I updated these both to the latest versions, they still would not play nice. I gave up, uninstalled Smartware, uninstalled the Logitech software. I then let Windows update install the logitech software. Everything is happy now. Smartware will not be reinstalled. I still don't understand the ks.sys error, but no more blue screens, so I guess I am good for now.

Had same problem with C920. Uninstalled Smartware, reinstalled Logitech and all is well.
    Thanks for your post.
