BSOD - MapleStory AnhLab Eaglent.sys

Ight so i've installed ms on my windows 7 professional 32 bit comp. But sadly as i launched the game, a little after the Anhlab square popped up and disappeared there was a black screen and then BSOD crash. I downloaded "WhoCrashed" and read that EagleNT.sys was the crashing module.

On Tue 4/12/11 10:42:41 PM GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\041211-29437-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: eaglent.sys (EagleNT+0xAD5C)
Bugcheck code: 0x1000008E (0xFFFFFFFF80000003, 0xFFFFFFFFAF01ED5B, 0xFFFFFFFF8EE13CB8, 0x0)
file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\eaglent.sys
product: AhnLab, Inc.
company: AhnLab, Inc.
description: Ahnlab HackShield KernelMode Driver
Bug check description: This indicates that a kernel-mode program generated an exception which the error handler did not catch.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: eaglent.sys (Ahnlab HackShield KernelMode Driver, AhnLab, Inc.).
Google query: eaglent.sys AhnLab, Inc. KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M

Heres my dmp file

Thank You! your help is greatly appreciated!!!

Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

Thank you very much. I looked at your four most recent dumps. All four blame memory corruption. Memory corruption can be caused by outdated drivers, conflicts with security software, other software conflicts, hardware conflicts and, of course, bad RAM.

None of the four loaded the symbols for EagleNT.sys. EagleNT.sys is the NT Core to AhnLab's HackShield Game Anti-Hack. It provides kernel hooks to prevent Usermode hacktools from accessing game memory. It also hooks Win32k.sys functions that include SendInput to prevent users from automating input. Your driver is up to date. It is possible that your outdated security software is causing conflicts with EagleNT.sys.

I recommend that you completely uninstall your AhnLab software, follow my suggestion in the post above for updating or removing obsolete drivers, install SP1 and see how your system runs. If it is stable and you are not getting BSOD's, you can then try reinstalling your AhnLab software and see what happens.

This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is

Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

It may be under some other name; but it is a security program Here is what I find on you computer:

RPPKT Radialpoint Filter (x8 Radialpoint Filter (x8 Kernel Manual Running OK TRUE FALSE 0 32,768 0 4/05/07 2:50:35 PM C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\rp_pkt32.sys
RPSKT Security Services Driv Security Services Driv Kernel Auto Running OK TRUE FALSE 0 36,352 0 4/24/08 1:52:57 PM C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\rp_skt32.sys

If you cannot identify the software these drivers are related to, try renaming them. Create a restore point, using Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers, locate the driver files, and rename them from .sys to .old. Reboot and the drivers will not load. This will break whatever software or hardware these drivers are associated with. Alternately, you can do a search of your C: drive for each of these drivers and rename every instance you find.

Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

More than likely, that adapter driver is going to cause you trouble. Windows is pretty finicky about obsolete wireless and LAN drivers. As a general rule, third party drivers designed for Windows 7 are dated 13 July 2009 or later. Driver prior to this are not designed for Win 7 and can can and do create conflicts, memory corruption and BSOD's. There are exceptions to this. If there is not an updated driver for your wireless adapter, it is quite possible that your adapter is not compatible with Windows 7 and is obsolete as far as Win 7 is concerned. You can check your adapter at this link: Windows 7 Compatibility: Software Programs & Hardware Devices: Find Updates, Drivers, & Downloads I strongly urge you to upgrade to a new wireless adapter certified compatible with Win 7 if your present adapter is not on the list as compatible.

How to find drivers -
- I have listed links to most of the drivers in the code box in my first post above. Please use the links there to see what info I've found about those drivers.
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

- - The most common drivers are listed on this page:
Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page:
Drivers and Downloads

To update a driver, find the driver on the manufacturer's website and download it to your desktop. Unzip the folder to a folder on your desktop. Open the new folder. If there is an .exe file, click on it and it will install the driver. if there is no .exe file, you will have to use Device Manager. Open Device Manager and locate the device associated with the driver you are updating. Right click on that device and click on Properties. Now click on the Driver tab. Click on the Update driver button and select Browse my computer for driver software. Using Browse, navigate to the appropriate folder on your desktop.
