    BSOD, black screen on start-up

    Hello everyone

Got a really weird problem with my computer that I need your help with.

Was playing yesterday and out of nowhere my computer freezes, no "program X has stopped responding", it just froze. I get a BSOD and it reboots.

During the reboot the screen has some capital "i"s or "|" running across it vertically. It gets to the microsoft logo and then just stops. I reboot, the start repair launches (I haven't got the english version so not sure what it's called), It checks and goes that it couldn't repair/restore the system files. I try two more times to reboot but I only get the black screen and start repair with no success.

Today, I booted it up and it worked okey. I ran a diagnostic on my windows partition, a defrag, virus scan and a Search&Destroy search with removed temporary currently not in use files. Tried starting up a game and it frooze like yesterday. I hard reboot. Black screen and vertical | again.

I've tried removing the drivers for my graphics card since I figured that was what was causing this but it hasn't changed anything.

Any help, tips, tricks and whatnot is greatly appreciated.

    Edit: Fixed upload

No DMP files included in upload try this method.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

    The procedure:

    * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
    * Zip up the copy.
    * Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.

    To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
    OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

Terribly sorry about that. Should be fixed now.

Another question that I'm just throwing out there. Is it possible that if my graphics card went bonkers that it caused all this? I noticed after updating the drivers (again) that it has a warning about it not working properly and a "code: 43" which from what I've managed to gather usually happens when the hardware breaks.

    Solved.

My GPU borked and caused all this.
