Frequent BSOD

Hello.

This seemed like the best place to get help. i dont know what to do so here it goes. hopefully someone can point me to the problems

Basic info: Windows 7 Home premium x64 OEM Original OS.
Hardware is about 4 days old since i built it myself
Current install is 1 day old i tried reinstalling but that did not help

Hi and welcome to SF

Had a look through your DMP files and it seems ATIKMDAG.sys might be to blame

Probably caused by : atikmdag.sys ( atikmdag+4a0a1 )
Try uninstalling Catalyst Control Centre and re-installing the driver only (under optional tab).
Drivers can be found here - ATI Drivers


Also try running Driver Verifier if the above doesn't solve it - Driver Verifier

And if you could fill out your full system hardware specs for us to go over.

Have a look at the tutorial, it will help running memtest86+.

When you run memtest86+ you are looking for bad RAM cards, bad motherboard slots, so you need to follow the testing procedure in the tutorial.
Sometimes errors from these tests can be corrected by adjusting the settings.

Attaching two new dumps will run Memtest overnight. Shame that this happens when i just built the damn thing, i should add that BSOD's only happen when i play games

Yes i did, seems to have fixed the Atikmdag.sys thing since i havent seen it specified in the blues since then
