    BSOD and Graphics Issues

I built my computer almost a year ago. Almost right away I noticed that my display driver was crashing occasionally and I would notice graphics issues/anomolies. The display driver crashes would happen more frequently if I had dual monitors connected. I ended up doing a full OS reinstall and the system appeared to be stable. I noticed that after a few months the display driver started crashing again and I would occasionally see the graphics issues. They were sporadic and never caused any serious problems/inconveniences, so I did not investigate further. But a few months ago I started getting the BSOD every few weeks and the graphics driver is crashing a lot more frequently. I currently only have one monitor hooked up. If I notice any problems I will usually restart the computer a and it will work fine. I am at a complete loss of how to diagnose, especially since my CPU has an integrated GPU. Last week the computer wouldnt restart after a BSOD. Windows said that it had to be repaired, but the repair failed every time. THe system booted to safe mode and after a restart booted up normally. PLEASE HELP.

I have attached the Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 zip along with a zip file containing screenshots of the graphics issues and a corrupted/distorted jpeg. I have also attached a zip file containing screenshots from CPU-Z showing system specs.

    Hello,
Run Furmark (Graphics Stress Test) and see if you get any artifacts: Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

If you see NtfsExceptionFilter on the stack then the 2nd and 3rd
parameters are the exception record and context record. Do a .cxr
on the 3rd parameter and then kb to obtain a more informative stack
        trace.

unable to run furmark. It crashes the display driver most of the time. I did get it to run once, but it was only running at 1fps. It was extremely slow and choppy.

I ran memtest86+ again and it came up with memory errors. I removed two sticks and reran. I got more errors. I took out those two sticks and put the other ones back in. Reran memtest for over 3 hours and no errors with the two sticks in now. Restarted and immediate BSOD. Ran memtest again for 2 more hours and no errors. Restarted and PC booted up again, but still having same problems.

I also forgot to mention that after the BSOD last week where windows said it neede to repair itself windows backup fails everytime I try to run it. See screenshot of error message.

Download and Install Speedfan: SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer
Tell me the temperatures of the hardware components.

Run the Hard Drive Diagnostic Tool as suggested.

Here is a screenshot of speedfan. computer was not under any load, but it was running for a few hours prior to me taking the screenshot. I also ran the WD diagnostic tool. The quick check passed and I am running the full test now.

    EDIT:
I ran the diagnostic tool in full mode and it also passed with no issues.

I moved the two sticks of RAM that I left in the system to the other two slots to see if it could be a bad RAM slot. The system is a lot more stable now. The graphics driver has not crashed yet, and I have not received a BSOD. I am still experiencing the graphics rendering issues, though not as frequently. The system has only been running for about 2 hours though, so I may experience problems as time goes on.

So... the system seems to be more "stable" at the moment, but there are still some issues.

Any more thoughts? And thanks for your help!

Sounds like if those RAM slots are bad and the temperatures look good.
Try run Funmark again when the system is stable enough.

Could you possibly take a picture when you are receiving graphic rendering issues?

BSOD again today. I have attached the dump files.

I am also noticing some graphics rendering issues still, but the frequency is MUCH less than before. The graphics driver has not crashed since yesterday. So the system has improved somewhat, but we still have not got to the root of the problem.

Fumark will still not run. It loads fine, but it runs extremely slow after loading the test. It runs at 1fps. It also causes the PC to slow way down.

    Thanks for your continued help!
