Swapped out daemon for the magic and verified it was gone
Superantispyware i ran the portable version to check for infection so its gone
Comodo, i used an older version for a while which is probably why it said not compatible, but removed it and the cleaner just to rule it out
getting errors on update and sfc reports errors that it cannot fix.
downloading the standalone installer for sp1 and trying that
Did you run sfc at least 3 times?
Let us know, if that doesn't work then do a Repair Install.

every time that i ran it returned errors. got my hands on another system (cpu ram mobo psu case) and ill try using video and psu in it. Sorry for the delay in response, i really appreciate your help. Just been busy trying to finish out my comp sci degree.

Did you try using some of the new/different hardware?
If yes, which components?
Try the PSU if you know its good.
Attach the zip file again, maybe it will give some new information.

As for the hardware, the extra psu i had laying around didnt have the extra 4 pin mobo connector. To get around this I frankenstined some parts together using the psu that is in question. so, pretty much just going to leave it on for a few days or until windows deactivates on me (using the hdd that had xp on it).
As I mentioned earlier, I havent seen a bsod since the ram was replaced. It seems to go to a black screen without a windows fatal error which is why i have suspected hardware. More specifically psu or gpu. If the computer hasnt failed in a few days, ill pull the gpu and put it in the test machine too and see if we get anymore errors.
We can still get a lot of system info from the rest of the non-dump files from the link.
Don't actually have to have a BSoD to get info from the other reports.

well computer has been up for 3 days straight without hiccup using the test system with the questionable psu. adding the video card to see what happens.
also, is it possible to have a single rail on a psu go bad? just wondering. and ill hook up the win7 hdd and see if i can get those files for you. thanks!
