    Happy Easter Help Please, BSOD

Team, if you can help me I would really appreciate it! 2 weeks ago bought HP Pavillion dv5 laptop, windows 7 home 64-bit already installed, it has been freezing up without a "crash" but finally got a few blue screens. I followed the attached BSOD instructions, let me know if you can help or need any other info, thx!

You have two malware apps installed and loaded. They both (AVG & Kaspersky) have been known to have BSOD's on certain systems.

I would remove them both and replace with Microsoft security Essentials

    AVG - Download tools

    http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

Also the BSOD's were memory corruption I would run memtest.

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Memtest86.com - Memory Diagnostic

Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.
