If you are getting BSOD's we could really use the minidump to analyze.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

I would not delete it outright. I would first rename it to MijXfilt.bak. That way if something is using it (and there probably is) you can see what complains. It might be something related to Xbox, etc.

But it is lethal to your computer stability.
Once I could rename the program, can I delete it or not?

So once I could rename it. Should I delete it after? Cause I tried to delete everything related to the 360 controller and the blue screen still appear everytime I plug it in

Since no one reply,I tried some test myself like changing the USB side where I plug it in.It was working at first but as soon as you unplug it and try to replug it in...no matter what I do I always get blue screen than my PC just restart and if I dont take off the 360 controller from the USB switch well my PC will keep restarting till I take it off.My guess is that they really need to find an update for windows 7 64b cause the one they have right now is not working and also half of my game who always recognize the 360 controller like NFS hot Pursuit,Borderlands etc they dont even recognize it anymore

I had the same problem. My system crashes when i plug in my xbox 360 controller after installation (Xbox 360 Accessories 1.2).

But here i have the SOLUTION:

The BSOD is caused by the file "MijXfilt.sys". The file is part of the driver for the software "Motioninjoy".
With Motioninjoy you can use your playstation 3 controller on your pc.
It is not enough to uninstall motioninjoy, you have to delete the driver.

First you plug in your ps3 controller and "Microsoft Common Controller For Windows" appears in the device manager.
Right Click on it and "Uninstall" -> "Delete the driver software for this device".

After that the following file is uninstalled:
C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\mijxinput.inf_amd64_neutral

Now delete this file:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mijXfilt.sys

Now you can install the xbox software and plug in the controller.

A restart isn't necessary for all of this.

I hope i could helped you!
