BSOD at wake up after sleep

System built in Jan. 2011, running like a charm then I recently had problems with Win7-64, corruption of .net 3.5.1 and had to reinstall. During installation at the drive selection I selected c: which is my SSD, a Kingston. I notice 100 MB reserved on disk and didn't touch it. Reinstall went fine but system was not stable. I reinstalled Win 7 again. At the same screen I selected to delete that 100 MB reserved disk space, tried format C:, didn't do anything so I rebooted with command prompt and formatted C: /FS:NTFS then proceeded to install again. It all went fine and the system works perfectly except for the fact that now I am getting BSOD when it wakes up after sleep mode. This happens every time. I am attaching my minidump and I am looking forward to hearing back from you. I am available to provide any other information that may help.

    Thanks in advance,
    Patrick

    Hello,

Start by installing SP1: Learn how to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

If that doesn't help, see here: https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...ml#post1371237

    That solution may help you.

Wow Jonathan, you nailed it, just like that. After rebuilding my system and installing the 70 some updates from MS I assumed SP1 was part of them...wrong. It took another 24 hours to get the notification.
I'm wondering if car makers could get away with it? Hey yeah you only have 3 wheels working but don't worry we'll send you a fix for the 4th wheel next week as for the breaks not responding we are still working on it
On the other end it's such a complex O.S. that I should be in admiration instead of being critical.

Anyway, I tested by putting the system in sleep mode from the start menu and it woke up gracefully with no BSOD. I will have to let it go in sleep mode on its own and test but it looks like it will work too.

Jonathan you have all my thanks and admiration. Go to bed happy and tell yourself several times "Damn, I'm good", I mean it LOL. And if your boss reads this..."JONATHAN DESERVES A RAISE!!!"

    Thanks again,
    Patrick

P.S. How do I set this thread to solved again?

I am afraid the issue is actually not solved
Last night I left the PC go to sleep mode on its own. When I woke it up I got the BSOD again.
After restarting I got the popup:
    Attachment 152673

I had liked to send you the minidump and WER-20061-0.sysdata.xml files privately as I don't want the whole world to dig into my files. How do I go about doing that?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

If you could create a full jcgriff2 report: https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

You can email me the compressed jcgriff2 report at kingjonathan 10 at live dot com (no spaces); I'll post suggestions in this thread however.

    Received email.

I see SP1 has been installed...that's no worry now.

I have a suspicion this is being caused by your SSD. Try updating the firmware/drivers for it, see if that helps.
