I've just run memtest86 overnight for 8 passes. No errors.
I'll try and see if I can run Prime95 today.

And thanks for the check on the new dump. My lead wasn't one.

Uhm...
I've just read through the guide on using Prime95. How would I keep watch on my temperatures?

There are several different apps out there. I prefer CoreTemp
It runs in my tray all day, every day

Or more for for Intel users: Real Temp

I ran a scheduled disk check on my drive C, but wasn't around to check the results. Any way to see them?

Under event viewer go to windows logs > applications and then click the source header to make it in alphabetical order and find chkdsk and it should tell you what happened.

It's only showing my first one, on the other partition? Is this not supposed to happen or does it not log reports done for scheduled disk checks?

Well... Can't find it. Hoping for the best then. I'll run SeaTools tomorrow.

One last confirmation on Prime95 - as long as the temps remain fine during the first 15-20 min, the entire test shouldn't do any harm, right? What would be fine temps, just for comparison? I got an i7 920 mounted on a P6T SE SE mobo. I can fetch the rest of the details tomorrow, if it will help give me a better sense on temps.
