    Windows 7
    . . .

    - x86 (32-bit)
    - the original installed OS on the system? no. it used to be win vista 32bit
    - an OEM or full retail version? windows 7 is full retail
    - What is the age of system (hardware)? 5 years or older
    - What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) probably less than 1 year with Windows 7. worked fine up until this issue.

The cause of your BSOD is your security. The driver actually causing the problem is
    Mpfilter.sys file description
    Productname:Microsoft Malware Protection
    Description:Minifilter Company:Microsoft Corporation

If not already using Microsoft Security Essentials, uninstall your current anti virus (including defender) and replace with MSE.
