pc won't boot or repair itself.

Hi, my pc is about a year old and has never had any real problems booting. recently, it wouldn't boot so I let it repair itself. This worked but my pc was pretty slow and didn't respond a couple of times. I tried to bott my computer the next day and it wouldn't again. the same as last time I let it repair but it simply didn't. It load files, flashes the cmd prompt then sits on a blueish screen with only a curser and does nothing. I tried removing the battery on 'expert' recommendation but this made no difference. I assume someone would have had the same problem at some point. helkp would be hugely appreciated.

Advanced boot with repair partition does not show repair option.
(first, I posted this on windows7forums two weeks ago, and no one replied. I'm not sure why) Hello. My friend recently encountered the error "Disk read error occurred." It seems to be because her MBR is damaged, according to other forums I've read, and a partition recovery program that listed...
