    Constant Crashing BSOD

Hi. I am experiencing consistent crashing of the OS, quick flash of the Blue Screen of death followed by an immediate OS restart. Right before each restart the screen flickers. This has been happening consistently for two days. Game Company of Heroes crashes a lot on this system and this started happening after the last crash. I ran adware, defrag, antivirus and cleaning programs and does not seem to fix the problem. Also, updated video drivers.

I have an ACPI x86-based PC. The original OS was Windows 7 Pro x64 (not 100%), current OS is Windows 7 Ultimate x32.

*Since I’m experiencing very frequent crashes, I will attach the dump data next

A known BSOD maker in Windows 7. The 2005/4 version of this driver is known to cause BSOD on Windows 7 systems.
Download the ATK0110 utility from here - ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE.
After you install it browse to C:\windows\system32\drivers and check the properties of ASACPI.sys and make sure it now says 2009

There was only one BSOD in your report. It was a video timeout bug check. It looks like your video drivers are up to date. I would make sure the card isn't overheating and it has proper ventilation. I would also like for you to download the latest drivers from here NVIDIA DRIVERS 270.61 WHQL, uninstall your current ones, reboot, and then reinstall the newest.

You stated you went from Win 7 Pro x64 to Win 7 Ultimate x86. Why was x64 installed on a x86 machine? Also, you went from Pro to Ultimate. Is your copy of Windows legit?

    Code:

    SendAdminAlert=FALSE

It appears that you have disabled writing minidumps. Follow the guide here to get it back up and running.

Please run these tests and report back the results

    2. Prime95 - Run all three tests for 3-4 hours each or until fail - https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html

    Hey! Thanks for the help!

    ASACPI.sys is now updated

When I was setting the minidumps I set the "Small memory dump (128 kB)" instead of (64 kB) because that option was unavailable.

When I was reading the page on Posting BSOD instructions I saw that it required Kernel Memory Dump to be set instead of the Small memory dump. I left the small memdump (128kb) as the first instruction stated.

I ran the Memtest 86+ v4.20 last night

    Intel Core 2 3000 MHz

    L1 Cache: 32k 42254 MB/s
    L2 Cache: 6144k 19608 MB/s
    L3 Cache: NONE
    Memory: 4095M
    Chipset: (nothing written)

Wall Time: 16:06:00 Cached: 4095M Rsvd Mem: 12k MemMax: e820 Cache: ON
ECC: OFF Test: std Pass: 8 Errors: 0

Im going to install new nvidia drivers, then start PC in normal mode (opposed to Safe Mode, in which I am now) and get a few crashed, after that run the stress test and sea tools.

What I attach more minidump reports as well?

Ok, so I have a ACPI x86-based PC. I’m not 100% sure, but I think the original OS was Pro x64. It could have been x86. My hard drive with the original OS burned up. I brought my PC to a computer repairman and her installed a new hard drive and windows ult x32. After a while I had to make a boot disk to start my computer with. Since then, I use the boot disk at start up.

I installed the nvidia drivers. Already had 2 crashes (I’m back in safe mode) and recorded the 2 BSOD, that actually stayed up.

    Technical information 1:

    ***STOP: 0x00000116 (0x85551510, 0x91545036, 0x00000000, 0x00000002)
    *** nvlddmkm.sys - address 91545036 base at 91432000, DateStamp 4d9e7e9b

    Technical information 2:
    ***STOP: 0x00000116 (0x875F3510, 0x92542036, 0x00000000, 0x00000002)
    *** nvlddmkm.sys - address 92542036 base at 9242F000 DateStamp 4d9e7e9b

Next, I will run the stress test

Used the SeaTools and tested both of my hard drives. Im posting just the ones that failed.

    Short Drive Test:

    SCSI-FC-SAS: WD
    Model Number: 00ADFD-00NLR
    Firmware REvision: 21.0
    Result: Short DST-FAIL

    SCSI-FC-SAS: GE
    Model Number: HDP725032GLA
    Firmware Revision: GM30
    Result: Short DST-FAIL

When I went to do the SMART Check it said "Test unavailable"

Also, I've been trying to get Prime95 to stress test, with out luck. Im follwoing instructions, but it seems im not getting something right there and the test is not starting. (I've been doing all this in safe mode, should I be in regular for all this?)

I would like you to run a bootable hard drive scan. Follow the guide here HD Diagnostic to create a bootable disc.

As for Prime95. Are there any messages that appear when you try to install it? Does it even install?

Do you have another video card you can use? It seems like your video card might be the cause of the problems
