Please run the Large FFTs test and blend test for 3-4 hours as well and report back your results here.

I have just finished the blend (ran for 7 hours) test which was a pass. I will do the Large FFTs on sunday.

I forgot to tell you that i was not home for the first blue screen and the laptop was not on. My girlfriend turned on my xbox to was a dvd using the xbox remote and that woke up the laptop via the cir. Is that what caused the bsod (netio.sys)?

You can try but I don't think it will help.

What is the model of your laptop? Can you link me to the download page for support.

I was just following this guide
    Bios-boot-cd - Howto: BIOS-Update per bootable CD (Method I) - www.biosflash.com
but when i selected cd rom from the boot menu it came up with intel ethernet contoller. So how would you update my bios with these files?

Not to sure about this one. Are you sure you created a bootable CD? What do you mean it came up with your ethernet controller? Have you tried changing the boot order in the BIOS?
