    3 Problems, 1 Source?

    Good afternoon, all:

I have an an issue for 2 months now. Whenever I start Windows from any state, I see a small box in the right hand corner that states:

Failure to connect to Windows Service (Group Policy Client Services) ...

The message disappears shortly after I click it, and my PC doesn't seem to have an issue. Today, after trying to install two programs, I decided to investigate and fix this error in hopes that the two programs will work.

The 1st program I'm having an issue with is Logitech Setpoint for my keyboard. The keyboard works fine, but the special buttons do not. Whenever I go into SetPoint.exe I receive this message:

The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

The program originally worked, even after the Windows Service issue arised, so I don't suspect that as an issue, but I could be wrong.

The third issue occurred today. I cannot install my printer. I receive this message:

Fatal error during installation. Error 1935 ...

My printer is a HP Photosmart C4700 series. I followed the instructions listed here (https://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...n&dlc=en&cc=uk) to no avail.

So far I ran sfc /scannow 3 times, but there are some files that will not fix.

Spec: Windows 7 Pro (OEM), Giga MB, 4 Gigs of Ram, Intel i5 series, and Geforce 7 graphic card.
