    ntdll.dll - Anyone?

    Hello.

Wonder if anyone can shed some light on why FSX has begun crashing with a report relating to this error:

Been happily running FSX problem free for a year now and just recently installed Aerosoft's Balearic Islands X prior to this problem, incidentally it only happens on airfields in this package and would post my query on their website but I'm assured that it's a Windows Issue.

    Any ideas?

    Many thanks.

I can't tell you for sure but quite possible that the two games share a common file(-s) that can't service both games, or the FSX installation got corrupted when you installed Aerosoft's Balearic. I don't think it's a Windows issue.

    1. Uninstall these two games, reboot, then try installing each separately and see if the issue persists.

    2. Update DX and video/sound drivers.

If no luck, contact technical support.

Thanks Cybercore, I uninstalled the Aerosoft product, ran CCleaner, rebooted and everything is back to the way it was and have now been in touch with Aerosoft for a fix.

    Appreciate your assistance.

    Win7 FSX crash Fatal Error

Scrutinizing various forums this problem is widely reported, all related to Win7. I started having
crashes after changing from XP some two years ago. There appears to be a number of possible causes mentioned for these intermittent crashes, but I can not find a straint answer whether Microsoft has come up with a fix to solve this Win7 fault, although after a crash all information is sent to MS.
    My set up is : - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6700 @ 2.66GHz 2.67GHz, RAM 4.OOGB(3.12 usable), systemWin7 32bit Home Premium 2 years old,Nvidia 8800 GTX PCIE 768MB driver 285.62 updated on 2011.12.06, FSX De Luxe+SP1+SP2 in default directory (reinstalled 6 months ago.

Would very much appreciate your comments a) what in my case is the real problem, b) what action is required to solve it.
PS Although I am a keen flyer, not very good as regards computers, so please keep your instructions in simple terms.
And a Happy New Year to you all !
    John
