Need help solving this problem. Machine occasionally crashes w BSOD at start of day. After reboot (sometimes needing to boot in "safe" mode) machine works fine the rest of day. Can't seem to find a pattern. I have uploaded the perfmon and BSOD Files

    Hello,

Try running Memtest86 for about 15 minutes first thing after the computer has been off all night: RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Also run (while the system is still cold): SeaTools for DOS | Seagate

Ran the Memtest86 - 3 passes, no problems.
Couldn't get the SeaTools program to work.
computer vendor tech support is telling me its a software problem, wants me to do a full recovery and re-load software one app at a time. Guess I'll try that.

    Thanks again.

Do what you like, but I doubt that will work for long, if at all.

Thanks for the additional suggestions. Ran the WD Diagnostic - hard drive "passed" the Extended Test. I had already installed Windows Seven SP1 after your first suggestion (forgot to mention that earlier). Not sure what to do next, might be time to make a warranty claim. Thanks.
