Windows 7 Professional 32

Kernal-Power 41 with bugcheck 1001

Running 32 Bit, Windows 7 Professional
Originally had XP installed, updated from this
Full retail, purchased an upgrade disk from my university

The system is just about 3 years old
Current OS was installed 12/22/2009. Updated from windows XP.

This all started almost to the day that I had a local computer guy clean the dust out of my system; could his compressed air have damaged something? I've manually checked almost every connection in the tower, so I don't think this is a problem.

Also, i've been meaning to do a fresh windows install since it's been a while. Do you think this would solve the problem?

Thanks

Hi hussar and welcome to SF

No, I don't think your problems were caused by the use of compressed air.
So far it seems, all but three crashes are blamed on your Graphics driver
Code:
atikmdag.sys Thu Nov 25 21:43:13 2010 (4CEF1EC1)
and
Code:
atikmpag.sys Thu Nov 25 21:16:27 2010 (4CEF187B)
Please reseat your Graphics card and try to find an updated version here (don't install the Catalyst Control Center...just the driver)
AMD Graphics Drivers & Software
Some crashes blame your Ethernet driver
Code:
yk62x86.sys Mon Sep 28 02:33:34 2009 (4AC058BE)
You might find an updated version here: Marvell: Support

Then follow this tut

Unless you'd want to start with a clean slate, like you said

You seem to have Daemon tools installed the driver
Code:
sptd.sys Sun Oct 11 16:54:02 2009 (4AD245EA)
is a well known cause for BSODs. Uninstall with this tool DuplexSecure
and switch to something less intrusive like MagicDisk/MagicISO

KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: c0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 934572a7, The address that the exception occurred at

Windows 7 BSOD - BCCode 1e, BugCheck 1001
I've been having this problem for a couple of months, and it's recently gotten to at least 1 blue screen a day, to 1 every other day. I know nothing about the inner workings of my computer, and it can't be overheating because I have my tower in an optimal position with a fan blowing on it. It...
