    @gregaras

    It will happen randomly. And not often at all. I could be doing work on my computer and it happens, or sometimes i'm just watching a show on Hulu. This is a laptop so most of the time I just close the top and let it hibernate, but otherwise, its a regular startup from the power button...

    What happened? You mean this?

    Well, the texts are different, according to what problem you have. These screens are called BSoD (Blue Screen of Death). Well, I'm new on BSoD's, so I could only reccomend to boot to "Last Known Good Configuration" (Before Windows launches, press F8).

    I'd just like to know the *cause* of the crash. I don't even know if the laptop *has* a good configuration, as this has happened shortly after I bought the computer - I reported the problem but like I said, it happens so rarely, they just assumed it was a fluke. how can I analyze those files to get to the bad or corrupted whatever that causes this random crash?

    Please upload a full report

    Enable driver verifier - Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

    Please run these tests and report back the results
    1. Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - RAM - Test with Memtest86+
    2. Prime95 - Run all three tests for 3-4 hours each or until fail - https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html
