If you are having a lot of system errors and program crashes, my advice is to byte the bullet and do a clean install. If you don't want to take that route I'd start by scanning my system for malware. Do a virus scan after updating to the latest definitions. You may also want run Malwarebytes. When did the problems start? What do you think might have caused it?
