Windows crashes with errors 7B, 1E, and others

    After plenty of trial and error, running memtest86 to check for errors, and installing a bored copy of Windows 7 Ultimate, I decided the best solution was to probably revert to what I was using before. I took out the 9800GTX, which seems like the root of most of the problems, since nothing had happened until it had been installed, and replaced it with my 9500GT. Hopefully that'll solve everything, and my brother in law can call the manufacturer to get a replacement.

    Thanks, Ken. You've been a huge help this whole time and I really appreciate it. Just a last note: the 9800 was a refurbished card my brother received from PNY when his new 9800 turned out to be defective. From all the errors, I suspect the card wasn't repaired entirely.

    My pleasure I know how frustrating this sort of thing can be (have been there myself a few times).
