Removing the battery hasn't done anything. Should the motherboard still beep with no RAM?

Of course it beeps because there is no RAM detected

So if I have defective RAM from not earthing myself when removing and reinstalling it, it would still beep I presume?

Insert 1 Stick of RAM Into the Motherboard - If it still beeps then yes you may have defective RAM

Do not worry hugely about the Earthing Process as there is only a minimal chance of Causing any real damadge to the Hardware

Go ahead test one stick at a time after this tut (esp. Part 3)

    RAM - Test with Memtest86+

I have tried them all so I presume I have blown all four sticks.

It is highly Unlikely that all 4 RAM Sticks have gone - My next guess would be your Motherboard
