Something I forgot to mention is that sometimes after a crash I can't reboot the PC straight away. Trying to do so just gives me a black screen i.e. no bios screen etc. The only way I can get the PC to boot is to leave it powered down for 10 min or so, then it seems to boot normally.

Does this give any clues?

More information. Recently I have started to have a lot of freezes when playing WoW. When I tab back to windows I get a message along the lines of "ATI driver stopped responding and has recovered".

Have you removed Daemon Tools yet?

Update your video card drivers if you haven't done so already

First thing I did was uninstall DT. I keep my graphics drivers up to date but I have now removed old drivers with driversweep and reinstalled.

Thought I'd do the memcheck thing again. I started it around 7PM yeaterday and had no errors when I went to bed about 4 hours later. I let it run overnight and when I got up this morning there were loads and loads of errors.

Is there something that can cause memory to go wrong after running for long periods of time?

Also, is there an easy way to see if any particular memory stick is faulty or all of them?

The only way to find out which stick is bad or if it is a motherboard problem would be by testing them individually.

Follow this link and start at # 6.

Well, opened up the pc and reseated all the RAM and I haven't had a BSOD for 3 days. Looks like one of the chips must have been poorly placed by the manufacturer or had somehow worked loose over the time I've had the PC (about 16 months).

I've been having BSOD trouble over the past four or five months now. The BSODs typically happen once a week, sometimes twice, with small strings of daily crashes here and there. I'm at my wit's end when it comes to trying to figure out where the problem lies. All of my parts are under warranty, so...

I just bought a brand new HP Dv7tse with Windows 7 x64, and ever since day one have been getting BSOD. It says that there's a problem with my graphic's driver, which I've tried to upgrade, but that didn't help. Then, it started blaming the BSODs on a new driver I got from Motion Joy for my PS3...
