Alright, I tried both drivers, and they both ended up BSOD'ing on me (the last driver gave me the same dxgmms1.sys BSOD, while the second to the last driver gave me a "video memory manager" error). Should I go ahead with driver verification route? Or is there nothing else that can be done?

That sounds like a potential problem with the card itself. You may want to contact them with your problem at this point. We've pretty much ruled out it being a driver problem.
