    Random BSOD crashes


    Hello everyone,

    For some time now I've been getting around 6 BSOD a day. It has been really annoying so I decided to post here.

    System specs:
    <<< System Summary >>>
    > Mainboard : Asus M4A785TD-M EVO
    > Chipset : AMD 785G
    > Processor : AMD Athlon II X4 630 @ 2800MHz
    > Physical Memory : 4096MB (2 x 2048 DDR3-SDRAM )
    > Video Card : ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series
    > Hard Disk : SAMSUNG HD502HJ ATA Device (500GB)
    > DVD-Rom Drive : HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22NS50
    > Monitor Type : BenQ BenQ G922HDL - 19 inches
    > Network Card : Realtek Semiconductor RTL8168/8111 PCIe Gigabit Ethernet
    os: win7 x64 ultimate

    You need to tell us the message the blue screen gives you. It should say it at the top of the blue screen in capital letters.

    the last one said IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL but it was different each time, there was one that said BAD_POOL_HEADER

    the IRQL message usually points to a buggy driver that's been installed. If you've installed any new hardware lately, check that the hardware works correctly and that it's the latest version. Perhaps even try reinstalling it afresh.
    BAD_POOL_HEADER occurs only when chipset drivers are not compatible with your OS. You need to install the latest ones from your manufacturer's website.
